Hi there! My name is Sean Golden. I have been actively devoted to researching and practicing strength training, health, fat loss, muscle building, and psychology/behavior modification for years in order to understand a few key fundamental questions that have been burning in my mind:
- What are the most important actions to take in order to build a massive amount of muscle?
- What do you need to do in order to effectively lose body fat, and KEEP IT OFF for good?
- How can you build habits that will be powerful enough to keep you healthy far into old age?
- Why is it that most people find it so difficult and fail so often to achieve the peak health and body composition they desire?
Of course, the answers to these questions are not very straightforward, quite detailed and context-specific, and, ultimately, largely confusing.
The evidence of this is everywhere. Go out on the street and ask 10 different people what the important actions are to change your body composition and you will likely get quite a diverse set of responses.
Thus, we’ve reached our first main problem: most people don’t know what information to trust and are confused about how to exercise and eat for maximum results.
This is a significant problem, because if someone has doubts about the validity of their knowledge or actions, it will lower their motivation and inhibit beneficial actions from taking place.
The second main problem is that once the correct information is understood, most people don’t know how to go about changing their daily habits and thought patterns in order to maximize progress and long-term results.
For example, many people do not know how to:
- Eliminate their limiting beliefs that are holding back progress.
- Change their thought patterns to boost motivation and conserve the limited resource of willpower
- Keep their progress after closely approaching their goal physique
By working with me, you will receive advice and information specific to your current position (including current body composition, mindset, and habitual behaviors) and precise to your goals.
You will receive an individualized physical and behavioral regimen that will allow you to break through all of the barriers that held you back in the past and accelerate towards your goals.
Who is Sean Golden?
Ever since I was a little kid, I have been insatiably curious about how everything works. This led me to pursue the sciences and get my bachelor degrees in mathematics, physics, and education with a 4.0 GPA.
Around the time high school was ending, I started to get specifically curious about how to build muscle, lose fat, and stay healthy. I soon realized that I could not trust magazines and blogs on the internet (even though I have one =). Thus, I started on my journey by getting information from experts in the field (you can see some that I think highly of on the About page) as well as full-text, peer reviewed research.
Over the years, this approach has lead me to cut through all the myths and dogma surrounding the health, fitness, and supplement industries and get straight to what is effective for a specific goal and how to implement it.
I am a currently Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I am also living in Port Orange, Florida working towards my Chiropractic degree and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Before I started Chiropractic school, I was a high school physics and chemistry teacher for two years.
My background in the sciences and education has specifically prepared me to train and coach you so that you will see real results and be astonished at the improvements that you will achieve.
